Dooap Stories
Client Testimonial: Michelle Wagner, SA Recycling (3min)
SA Recycling has been a Dooap customer for years. AP Director Michelle Wagner tells about the collaboration and the benefits Dooap has brought to this rapidly growing company.
I'm Michelle Wagner. I'm the Accounts Payable Director with SA Recycling. Let me tell you a little bit about our accounts payable team here at SA Recycling So we have a team of 14 personnel, nine specialists, a document clerk, payment processor, team trainer, vendor relations administrator, and then myself as the director. And we're currently using Dooap as our AP automation interfacing with Dynamics Microsoft 365. I cannot imagine our lives without accounts payable automation. It would be chaos and a nightmare. A bunch of non-value-added activities poor credit performance, poor vendor relations. I really just cannot even fathom with the volume that we do, what that would look like. So some examples that I can give you for how we're using Dooap. One, we use the Mobile App. We have over 200 approvers in our organization. We currently have grown significantly over the last few years. We have 140 locations, and the mobile users absolutely love the ability to review and approve, draw in, zoom into the details of the invoices, see prior history, coding and comments, all from the mobile application. I absolutely love the Power BI analytics functionality that Dooap provides. There are many off-the-shelf reports that are already created, that really zone in to exactly what someone directing the team would want/need. So that for me was a big benefit joining the company, right. Because I didn't have to go reinvent the wheel. The support team at Dooap and the partnership they have with us here at SA Recycling has been really fantastic. We've got multiple ways that we've approached it over time. And what we're doing now that we all kind of feel has been really the sweet spot, is we put in a ticket and include screenshots - sometimes we include videos if we've encountered something that we weren't expecting - and we submit those, and then we have a weekly or biweekly call. We meet every other week, a core group of us, and we talk through each of those tickets. Some of them are turned around and quickly addressed. Others are more of enhancements or things that we're looking at doing or a customization of a report. I would tell anybody who's thinking of doing AP automation with Dooap, do it. Absolutely. Jump on board. It's quick, easy. It's painless. And they're with you every step of the way.
